Skydive Operation
A Skydive operation employs the following types of staff in their hands-on roles: office administrators, drivers, pilots, on site administrators, Jumpmasters, packers, photographers.
Buses leave town with clients throughout the day although jump times are booked by the hour.
Clients can choose from three jump heights and they can choose to have photographs or video (this requires one dedicated cameraman per jumper).
Jump height and booking of photographer can be altered any time prior to jumping.
Staff need to know when they’re up and who their client is, at any time of day.

Boat Tour Operator
A tour company runs three boats that take clients on a dolphin watch trip.
The company picks up clients from their hotel using a local taxi service who need to know what’s going on. The taxis drop all clients to a coach departure point from where clients are driven to the boats.
Swimmers are kitted up with wetsuits. The company has to ensure that family or other groups are allocated the same boat.
They need to know who is booked to swim and who is booked to observe and have appropriate staff on each boat.

System Overview
Availability Screen
One button brings up this screen and it’s easy to follow the prompts - Select the desired date and trip. Your up to the minute availability information is instantly displayed. Select the departure time, if relevant, and number of places required, then click ok and you’re through to the Booking Form. You can also see the latest status message from the operations manager about weather or changes in schedule to keep you up to date with what’s going on.
Bookings
Follow the screen cues and enter the agent and customer name. Now simply enter the details: Adult/Child, Pick up requirements for manifests, and special information.
Notice the private note box at the bottom of the form, this allows your staff to communicate information about this booking to each other that the customer doesn’t see.
Prompt the user to complete certain fields, such as country of origin, where did you here about us, FIT or part of group, age range or whatever else you may require for your market analysis.
Saving the booking opens a concise confirmation box you can read back to the customer before printing out a ticket. Simple!
Search
Want to cancel, edit, or reschedule an existing booking? Find out what bookings have been made for a particular date or with a particular agent? Track down information about an old booking? The Search screen allows you to search the IBIS system for any bookings made, using criteria you choose.
Just enter a date, past or present and all bookings made for that day will appear. Not sure of a date? Search over a range of dates and enter a customer or agent name, or even a few letters, and all matching bookings will show up.
Manifests
Take the guesswork out of your day with a manifest to suit your operation. Whether you need pickup lists, dropoff lists, name lists with medical conditions or a comprehensive look at what’s going on for the whole day, IBIS has something to suit your business.
Notes entered at time of booking are displayed here so that everyone is aware of special requirements. Pickup locations can have detailed explanations so that no customers are missed and are sequenced in pickup time order to make the job easy for the driver. For coach services, return journeys can show on the same manifest, giving your driver a complete picture of their day.
Manage Pax Explorer
If you want a quick overview of your day or week, this is the place to find it. The Manage pax explorer can be viewed in different ways depending on the frequency of your departures and how far ahead you want to look. Summary levels give you the big picture of how many passengers you’re expecting for each departure or for the day.
In the familiar Windows explorer style, each level can be opened to see detail right down to the booking level, including adult/child breakdown. Print manifests straight from here, make new bookings or edit existing bookings - it’s all at your fingertips.

Point of Sale feeds data into the rest of your IBIS system for accounts, marketing, financial analysis and inventory management.

Accounts

Analysis
