The Itinerary Planner Module was the first system designed exclusively to meet the needs of the FIT and special interest tour market. It allows you to plan and manage tours varying from an itinerary for an FIT to a large-scale series tour. Each itinerary can be tailored and presented in a highly customisable Word Document format. You specify the style and the content.

Large series tours can be managed by creating a tour template from which you can manage passenger lists and individual requirements, as well as printing vouchers and reporting for your cost management.

System Overview

Tour Planner Screen

Tour Planner ScreenThis screen is actually made up of two separate parts. On the left is the Product Explorer where you manage all products available for your tours. On the right, the Customer Tour screen - this is where you simply drag and drop products from the Product Explorer to build your itinerary.

The Product Explorer can be customised to suit your business. Products can be grouped in any combination of Region, Operator, Category and Price Code. From the Product Explorer you can also print reports of the pricing of all of some of your products.

Reservation Screen

New Reservation ScreenUse this screen to add particular details for a single reservation - for example a hotel booking for 5 nights with breakfasts included. Separate note fields are used for storing operator information, client information and itinerary notes. Reservation status is also managed from here so you can easily see if you have a requested, wait listed, or confirmed reservation at-a-glance.

The handy Send Email button automatically generates an email to the activity or accommodation provider which includes details of the reservation - saving you time and no double-handling.

Clip Manager

Clip Manager Screen Customise your client's itinerary with extra notes and details - without a lot of extra work from you! The Clip Manager is a handy resource from which you can file snippets of text or 'clips' in order to produce a detailed, comprehensive itinerary. The handy drag and drop function allows you to quickly add snippets to an itinerary or build up your clip library by inserting text from a website.

Easily create an automatically generated itinerary from stored notes about each product. The itinerary can be exported to Word for editing purposes, printed straight onto your customised letterhead or emailed directly from IBIS - the possibilities are endless.
